I had a conference call late last night with the top brass at Acclaim, we're being as patient as possible with the developer of the game as the pre-open beta build revealed a bunch of issues that our pre-open beta SWAT team managed to find.

Thanks for that! Some of the issues were a little bigger than normal and so there's some serious fixing going on.

We're being told we will get a progress update on the project on Monday (which really means Tuesday thanks to time zones.)

Just know we are still working away on this project and are in one of those "wait for the programmers to give a thumbs up" - delay loops.

There's just no point in releasing the current build right now as the pre-test spotted the issues really fast.

The dev team are also looking into the Windows Vista compatibility, so we've set up a test team to hammer on that too.

So early next week, we hopefully will hear some good things from our development team partners.
