A detailed look at the update, Premium Item Mall, follows bellow.
1. What is the Item Mall?
Item Mall is an interface that can be used by pressing the [F10] key inside the game, and it supplies the players with various useful items that can be used within the game.
2. How can items be bought at the Item Mall?
Following the instructions at the Item Mall tab in the homepage, you can purchase Silk which is private game money, with cash.
3. How can payments be made?
Currently only payments made through Visa card is supported. Other payment options(Paypal – Master, Amex, Discover, etc.) will be supported soon.
4. Is Silkroad Online becoming a pay-to-play game?
The actual play of the game will be free to play forever as it is now. However, players can make payments through cash when they need to use items from the Item Mall.

Hello, this is Silkroad Online.
We would like to post notice for users located in Vietnam (hereinafter, Vietnamese Users) that the Vietnamese version of Silkroad Online will be soon in service. We have been working on the Vietnamese version ever since the preparation of the Open Service for Global Server in cooperation with our Vietnamese partner, VDC-NET2E, and is scheduled to be in service in mid 2006 in Vietnam.
We believe that the launching of the service in Vietnam will contribute to providing better playing circumstance for Vietnamese Users. However, we regret to inform you that upon the launching of the service, the Vietnamese IPs connected to Global Server will be blocked.
Therefore, Vietnamese Users must create new accounts and characters in the Vietnamese server to play Silkroad Online afterwards. As the Vietnamese version will be available in a few months from now, we would like to assist the Vietnamese Users in enjoying play on the Global Server until the Vietnamese version is launched but we kindly advise Vietnamese Users not to purchase any "premium items" that will be in service, as of March 14, on the Global Server. Upon the IP block, any purchased "premium items" under the blocked IPs will neither be in service or refundable.
Nevertheless, we are happy to inform you that our Vietnam partner VDC-NET2E is planning to offer rewards to users moving from the Global Server to the Vietnamese server in a way that could give a certain advantages in the game to start playing in the Vietnamese server. As soon as the details are confirmed, we will post notice to you.

Notice: Please let us explain the background of the blocking of Vietnamese IPs. There are 4 countries so far that we blocked IPs from; China, Japan, Taiwan and Korea and it will soon be applied for Vietnam. These are the countries where our game, is in service currently or will be in service in the local language, in cooperation with a local publisher and we had to take this action to let the publishers focus on serving local users better. We wonýýt have any further IP blocks against other territories with the exception of the countries described above.

Q. When I try to pay for charging silk with my Visa credit card, I continue to get error messages with the number 8373 and/or internal error 500. What are these?
A. These are Verified by Visa related errors. Please consult your card's homepage for more detailed information.
Q. My Visa debit card isn't being accepted. It says Visa on it so it should work right?
A. Debit cards will not work because the Verified by Visa system only works with Visa credit cards.
Q. That monkey is really cute! Where can I get it?
A. The Item Mall, which is accessible in-game with the F10 key.
