hab grad nen text gelesen über LoL (hat nen typ im HoN Forum gepostet) kann das mal ein erfahrener Dota spieler bestätigen das es wirklich sos chrecklich ist?
Mich persönlich hat mich shcon immer diese "geklaute" grafik bzw. die fehlende dynamic abgeschreckt...
aber das es so schlimm sit.... ich mein, das spiel basiert auf -em.... oO
Sadly I played LoL a couple times as I told a friend I'd try it out if he would try out HoN, convinced he'd see the grass is greener.
Every 5 minutes I'd notice something else mindblowingly dumb that made me just want to be like...srsly? I'll just try and make a list of top 10 things that should make you lol at LoL.
Warning: I kind of ranted as the painful memories came back
tl;dr...LoL is like...the em mode of em mode...stay away!!
But anyways, Here we go...
1. No denying...towers, creeps, players...anything. This forces the game into a pushing frenzy.
2. Not that this "necessarily" would be a bad thing for faster play etc, but there's no gold loss on death. Let alone, you can use your "summoner skills" (2 skills everyone has access to before the game to make the game even more random) to get resurrect which lets you instantly resurrect anytime you die every like...5-10 minutes. Hence, suiciding towers to knock them down is actually rewarded.
3. Raxes respawn after a certain amount of time...wuhh??
4. Most heroes have the right set of abilities to 1v1 any other hero given a good gank, initiation etc....really promotes solo play and teamwork is hardly required to kill neone.
5. Everyone has a skill to tp back to base even though its like an 8 second cast...no courier or nething required, and you can use one of your "summoner skills" to get a tp ability to just go back to where you were farming with a cd of like 5 minutes...and there's no tp's btw...so hope you like walking...
6. Heroes are really imbalanced. Let alone the fact that anyone new to the game has only the option to play about 8-10 heroes....Have fun playing with those same heroes over and over and over again in every pub game...
7. Duplicate heroes in every game...and considering there's a hero with a scout type fast attack out of stealth ability...cept hes ranged attack and has a slow on hit...and the fast attacks last for around 10 seconds...you'll see 2 of these (one on each team) in every game lol
8. Towers hit way too hard. Also, tower damage stacks the more times you get hit by it...might hit u for 100 first, but after 5 hits its doing around 150+....don't plan on diving towers anytime soon to get those kills early game, they 3-4 shot you untiil like lvl 5...if even that low.
9. The talent tree and runes...you can spec your character to get bonuses in certain areas...crit, regen, ms, as, cd reduction...anything really. Even though the bonus might be as little as 5% crit when all your points are in it...that's still a decent amount to consider it a balance issue.
10. Everyone has a "main" character...at first hearing this, as you might do also, I lol'd...I'm like, hon has 60 characters and I know how to play pretty much everyone of them to a certain extent, better with some than others, yes, but still have a little exp. under my belt with all of them....everyone I knew who played LoL had only 1...maybe 2 characters they ever played.
This is mainly because of the talent tree skills and such but it's still ridiculous to imagine. It was pretty funny when my friend asked me what character I was going to main and I just said...I was going to try them all and just play whatever one seemed to fit the team best. I got a laugh back from him untiil he realized I was kind of serious...Sadly I was soon to be let down when I would find out the game wasn't teamwork based and solo friendly...Sigh, don't feel like rpg'ing today :/
11. I would have stopped at 10 but just to show you the lack of teamwork/strategy involved I had to make an 11. Hero picks are blind. Your team picks your 5, their team picks their 5...and when you get to the loading screen to start the game. You finally get to see what heroes they have and what heroes you have. Imagine picking 5 heroes in hon and then realizing the other team had jere or temp on their team and you didn't even get the chance to counter with elec/hb or something. Welcome to LoL...oh wait teamworks not involved, nvm...counterpicks aren't needed.
12. Last but not least, sadly again...2 gold per second...as if not losing gold on death was bad enough...those carries are going to get up their fast and there's nothing you can do...Good Luck Int's!
