As you descend into the ant queen's room you will see a little room on the opposite side of her. It contains the queen's larvae (it's just an egg that can't attack and can't be killed). The only way to stop the nurse ants from healing the ant queen is to hit the queen's larvae in the opposite room. The nurse ants will then leave the queen and go to heal the larvae, leaving you to attack her.

There is a problem with this method. Everything, literally everything in the ant queen's room will gain agro on the person hitting the egg and before you know it the "egg room" will be flooding with ants.

2 highlevel mages (sorc, SS, SH) should be able to hold their own easily with their AOE attacks in the egg room. Though they should not be in the party attacking the queen so they don't affect drops.

Before you start, make sure you clear ALL the mobs in the queen room and the egg room.

For the queen, a healer, 2-3 tanks and 4-5 nukers would make a good party.

Raiding the Ant Queen: This is one of the more difficult Bosses to raid simply because of the Nurse Ants always healing the Queen. You will need a several large parties of fairly high level. The Ring of the Ant Queen is B grade and certainly is a nice trinket. The value is about 225 Mil on Gustin. Frankly, the ring is nice but an awful amount of work for a B ringXD
